SItala himAdri
tasya vyatta jaTA sprushati
saritAH pravahanti

Cold Ice capped mountain
His open matted hair brushes
Streams flow

Its beautiful to imagine how everything links to Siva and Sakti!

Really cool, but I would prefer

Sivasya SItala himAdri
tasya vyatta jaTA sprushati
nirmala saritA pravahanti

Just an improvisation :)

But, the point is .. sanskrit has myriad adjectives and maximum poetic liberty. Employ em!

Thanks Krishna. Point taken. However, the haiku should give you the feel of "nirmalatva" without actually saying it.

Even in the first line, if I alreday say Sivasya, what's left for the reader to deduce!

Remember, use few adjectives in haikus.
